These policies keep the buying and shipping process clear. Stone is heavy, fragile, and expensive to move, so we spell everything out upfront. If you’ve ever had a delivery go sideways because of unclear terms, you know why this matters.
Payment Policy
All orders must be paid in full before shipping. We accept major credit cards. Once payment clears, we schedule freight from the facility where the stone is stored. This keeps the process steady and avoids delays.
Shipping Policy
The buyer pays all shipping costs. Rates depend on weight, distance, and the type of delivery you choose. Some customers have a loading dock. Others need a liftgate at a home or small shop. Either option works — the carrier just needs the details ahead of time.
No Local Pickup
Our inventory is stored across multiple locations, and pieces move through the system as they sell. Because of that, we do not offer local pickup. Every order ships directly from its storage facility.
Inspection on Delivery
When the shipment arrives, take a moment to inspect the crate before signing. Look for cracks, crushed corners, or anything that seems off. If you’ve ever received a damaged delivery and had no way to prove it, you know how important this step is. Note any issues on the delivery receipt and contact us right away.
Damage Claims
If a piece arrives damaged, report it immediately. Photos of the crate and the stone help us work with the carrier. Freight companies handle stone every day, but accidents can happen. The sooner we have the details, the faster we can help.
Returns
Because marble is heavy and fragile, returns are limited. Once a piece has shipped, it cannot be returned for preference reasons. If there is a shipping‑related issue, we handle it through the damage claim process.
Inventory Accuracy
We inspect and photograph each piece before listing it. Natural stone varies, and no two slabs behave the same. We call out markings, veins, or quirks that matter once you start cutting. This helps prevent surprises when the crate arrives.
Order Changes
If you need to change an order, contact us as soon as possible. Once a piece is crated or handed off to the carrier, changes aren’t possible.
These policies are here to keep the process predictable. Clear terms help everyone — homeowners, contractors, and the crews waiting on material to keep a job moving.
