Stone is heavy, fragile, and expensive to move, so we keep the delivery process clear from the start. Every order is paid in full before it ships, and we accept major credit cards. Once payment is complete, we arrange freight through carriers that know how to handle stone.
Because our inventory is stored across multiple locations, we do not offer local pickup. Every order ships directly from the facility where the stone is stored. This keeps the process simple and avoids the risk of moving slabs more than necessary.
Shipping costs are paid by the buyer. Rates depend on the size of the slab, the weight, the distance, and the type of delivery you need. Some customers have a loading dock and prefer a standard freight drop. Others need a liftgate because they’re working out of a garage or a small shop. Either option works — we just need to know ahead of time.
Before the truck arrives, it helps to clear a spot and think through how the slab will move once it’s on the ground. If you’ve ever tried to shift a heavy piece of stone without enough hands or the right cart, you know it’s better to plan a few minutes early than to scramble later.
Once the shipment is delivered, take a moment to inspect the crate. Freight carriers handle stone every day, but it’s still worth checking for damage before signing off. If something looks off, note it on the delivery receipt and contact us right away. We’ll walk you through the next steps.
Our goal is simple: get your stone to you safely, with no surprises, and with enough clarity that you feel prepared when the truck pulls up.
