Overstock and remnant marble.

Buying stone without seeing it in person can feel like a leap, especially if you’ve stood in a yard before and watched the light shift across a slab. Since our inventory is stored across multiple locations, we don’t offer in‑person viewing. Instead, we give you the information you need to understand your stone before it ships.

How We Photograph Each Piece
Every slab and remnant is photographed under real light. Not studio lighting. Not filters. Just the kind of light you’d see on a jobsite or in a garage. We take wide shots so you can see the overall pattern, and close‑ups so you can study the veining, texture, and any natural markings. If you’ve ever tried to judge stone from a single overhead photo, you’ll know why this matters.

What You Can Expect to See
Marble shifts with the angle and the time of day. Some veins look bold in the morning and softer in the afternoon. Our photos aim to show the stone in a way that feels honest and practical. You’ll see the tone, the movement, and the details that affect how it will look once installed.

Asking for More Detail
If you need a closer look at a specific area — a corner, an edge, a vein that caught your eye — just ask. We can provide extra photos or notes. Contractors do this all the time when they’re trying to match a piece to an existing install or a tight measurement.

Understanding Natural Variation
No two pieces of marble behave the same. A small fissure, a soft vein, or a slight bow can be normal. We call out anything that might matter once you start cutting. It’s the same kind of attention you’d expect from someone who has spent time behind a fabrication table, checking a slab before making the first cut.

Condition Checks Before Shipping
Before a piece leaves the facility, we inspect it again. We look for cracks, chips, or anything that might have changed since the photos were taken. Stone is heavy and can shift in storage, so this extra step helps prevent surprises when the crate arrives.

Why This System Works
Most customers — homeowners and contractors — tell us the same thing: the photos and notes give them a clearer picture than they expected. When you combine that with a second inspection before shipping, you get a process that’s steady and predictable, even without a yard visit.

If you ever feel unsure about a piece, reach out. A quick conversation can make the decision easier, especially when you’re trying to match a look you’ve had in your head for weeks.
